Set of 4 leather and tubular steel armchairs 1970, Fauteuils Bauhaus en cuirIf you love the Bauhaus period, it's hard not to fall under the spell of this model of armchair. Unfortunately, we haven't tracked down the designer or publisher of these superb pieces. It could be Möbel Fabrik, as we found a model similar to this one, but we can't confirm it. In any case, these armchairs truly respect the codes of the Bauhaus style, with a beautiful cubic shape, functional and devoid of ornamentation. A minimalist, timeless design, they're sleek and simple, making them easy to adapt to our contemporary interiors. The leather is well preserved, and the armrests are also sheathed in thick leather. The cushions (which can be removed from their covers) rest on leather that has been lasered around the frame. We've completely disassembled and cleaned them, and they're ready to use! The whole thing is in very good condition for its age. The chromes are not oxidized and are shiny. We note only a small loss of chrome on one of the horizontal bars at the back of an armchair (a defect that is almost invisible in situ). See photos.
