Vintage Goyard trunk, 1920

A huge Goyard trunk in fabulous condition, completely original and with lots of character, opening (with a hinged lid) to reveal a hanging compartment on the left and a set of drawers on the right side. Dating from the early 20th century (circa 1910-1920), this trunk was adorned with the famous herringbone fabric and is as alive as the day it left the store, which is very rare considering the number of pieces made and the wear and tear they must have endured.In recent years, the brand has been revived and has taken the fashion world by storm. E. Goyard was originally a trunk maker that competed with LV and the trunks they made at the time exuded the same quality and finesse as their (now) more famous competitor.
