About this vintage design furniture

In 1951, Eternity AG sought to collaborate with external designers and asked Willy Guhl and his students to work on new plant containers. Eternit, developed for the production of roofs and pipes, is a stable product with a fibrous texture that is resistant to traction, breakage and climatic variations and contains 10 asbestos. Known since antiquity, asbestos is now being reused in innovative ways by industry. For Guhl, "no building material used so finely gives as much stability as Eternit". Composed of a structure entirely in fibrocement and endowed with a form in puzzle allowing them to be assembled with the infinity while creating plays of heights between the various models. In good condition, the two large models have cracks.large model (x2): H:65 W:29,5 D:27Small model (x2): H:26,5 W:30 D:26 Reference : 278891
