About this vintage design furniture

Vintage Danish Modern Rosewood chair Model 42 by Kai Kristiansen, 1960s. Mid-Century Modern armchair designed by Danish architect Kai Kristiansen in the 1950s and manufactured by Schou Andersen Møbelfabrik, Denmark. Very comfortable, elegant and aesthetically pleasing design, suitable for both dining, work or simply rest. The armrest is visually pleasing with its significant profile. Tiltable backrest adapts to the user to create maximum back support. Back legs are turned inwards, so the chair takes up less space. It also makes it easier to pass behind the chair. Upholstered in an off-white bouclé and new high density foam. All in all a stunning chair, and this one in beautiful solid Rosewood with exquisite grain pattern. Very good vintage condition. New upholstery. Wood has been cleaned and polished, ready for use. Reference : 273442
