About this vintage design furniture
A vintage modular wood bookcase manufactured in the 1960s by iconic italian company "Vittorio Dassi".
The item is made by poplar solid wood structure venereed in teak, black iron poles bases and brass feet and screws. The bookcase structure is made by 5 solid wood poles, four closets and eleven solid wood shelves (all venereed in first quality teak).
All parts of this beautiful piece of design can be positioned at will.
The bookcase has a very sturdy structure with refinied finishing. THe item has been completely restored as follows:
The wood parts have been refinished and polished.
Brass feet have been polished
The black Iron pole bases have been repainted (by respecting original colour).
The item is in remarkable conditions with only few signs of time.

About the designer
Vittorio DASSI
Vittorio Dassi was an Italian designer born in 1914 and died in 1978. He is best known for his work on designer furniture in the mid-twentieth century.
