About this vintage design furniture
Vintage collectible two-seater and two-seater sofa designed by Gio Ponti for the Casa e Giardino manufacturing company in the late 1930s.
Original goose down cushions.
The upholstery was redone more than 20 years ago but it is not in good condition, a new upholstery is recommended, while the padding is in excellent condition.
The armchairs measure cm:

About the designer
Gio PONTI
1891 - 1979Gio Ponti (1891-1979) was an Italian designer, architect, writer and teacher, considered one of the most influential designers of 20th-century Italy. Born in Milan, he studied architecture at Milan Polytechnic University and began working as an architect in 1921.
