About this vintage design furniture
Daisy model sofa with wide and comfortable backrest, conical beech foot, good condition of the padding, goose down cushions.
The velvet is original from the period but a new upholstery is recommended.
Designed by Gio Ponti and produced by ISA-BERGAMO 1950, a manufacturer of furniture and seating, active in Bergamo since the 1940s, a point of reference for great architects and designers of the time, the company stands out for its high construction capacity and artisanal.

About the designer
Gio PONTI
1891 - 1979Gio Ponti (1891-1979) was an Italian designer, architect, writer and teacher, considered one of the most influential designers of 20th-century Italy. Born in Milan, he studied architecture at Milan Polytechnic University and began working as an architect in 1921.
