About this vintage design furniture
Pair of vintage Italian collectible armchairs designed by Gio Ponti for the Casa e Giardino manufacturing company in the late 1930s.
The upholstery was redone more than 20 years ago but is not in good condition, new upholstery is recommended.

About the designer
Gio PONTI
1891 - 1979Gio Ponti (1891-1979) was an Italian designer, architect, writer and teacher, considered one of the most influential designers of 20th-century Italy. Born in Milan, he studied architecture at Milan Polytechnic University and began working as an architect in 1921.
