About this vintage design furniture

A stylish and comfy armchair by Henning Kjaernulf. Denmark, c1960s. Stained oak, original upholstery retained, which remains functional but can easily be updated. We often do these in sheepskins or shearling which equally looks amazing. Nicknamed the razor blade chairs after their back that resembles one. The curved back and design means these lounge armchairs are extremely comfy. Location: Belgium Gallery. Dimensions: 72 W x 68 D x 42 Seat Height x 78 Total Height in cm. About the designer

Henning KJAERNULF

Henning Kjaernulf (1929-2009) was a Danish designer who left his mark on the 1950s-1970s with his functional, elegant furniture. He studied at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen, where he was trained in carpentry and design.
