About this vintage design furniture
Composed of many stylistic details, this oriental carpet "Konya" will bring an ethnic and warm touch to all interiors. Its simple and geometric pattern is composed of a central band of 3 polychrome hexagons floating on an indigo background. The region of the trading city of Nigde (located between Kayseri and Konya) produces beautiful fine kilims called konya-nigde. The patterns of this region are typical of Anatolian kilims but the chromatic variations create different viewing angles, as in a distorting mirror, the colors of the patterns never being the same color as their symmetrical mirror reflection.
