Vintage desk chair in off-white bouclé fabric from Verkstads Ab, Sweden

A Swedish mid-century industrial office chair reupholstered with an Italian off-white bouclé fabric from Designers Guild's Lana collection. This chair was bought at an auction in Linköping in the summer of 2021. It's a Swedish office furniture classic. We just had to have it. It was manufactured by the company Verkstads AB, Lindqvist, Motala. The metal structure of the chair was broken and had to be fixed. The fabric, not the original, was in poor condition and we chose an off-white bouclé to contrast the wood of the handles which were entirely refinished. The chair was refurbished in the summer of 2022 and our partner metal worker in Stockholm. Reference : 271738
