About this vintage design furniture
Margherita model armchair with wide and comfortable backrest, conical beech foot, upholstery in good condition, spring cushions.
The velvet is original from the period but a new upholstery is recommended.
Designed by Gio Ponti and produced by ISA-BERGAMO 1950, a furniture and seating manufacturer, active in Bergamo since the 1940s, a point of reference for great architects and designers of the time, the company stands out for its high construction capacity and artisanal.

About the designer
Gio PONTI
1891 - 1979Gio Ponti (1891-1979) was an Italian designer, architect, writer and teacher, considered one of the most influential designers of 20th-century Italy. Born in Milan, he studied architecture at Milan Polytechnic University and began working as an architect in 1921.
