About this vintage design furniture
A Danish Modern modular bookcase in teak, designed by Kai Kristiansen in the 1960s, was made by a well-known Danish Manufacturer - FM Mobler, which is validated by the original labels stuck on a few shelves. Three cabinets and nine shelves will provide enough storage space for trinkets and expose books and decorations. A great example of Danish carpentry skills from mid 20th century.
It consists of:
- a console with four drawers H: 23 / W: 86 / D: 32 cm, drawers height: 7,5 cm
- a cabinet with fluted glass doors H: 36 / W: 86 / D: 32 cm
- a cabinet with teak sliding doors, with two inner drawers - one with green lining H: 36 / W: 86 / D: 32 cm
- three shelves 32cm D.
- three shelves 24cm D.
- three shelves 20 cm D.
- four metal teak veneered rails 200 cm long
Each section is 86cm wide, and one can arrange all the parts by one will by the easy system of metal brackets fitting into the rails. Excellent vintage condition, especially after cleaning and coating with additional layers of Danish Oil. Minimal signs of wear.
