About this vintage design furniture
One of the first ‘Cantilever’ dining room chairs is the Thonet S43 designed by Mart Stam. Typical of the time in which the designer lived is the tubular steel frame combined with the molded plywood seat and backrest. Thanks to the spring-loaded frame, the chairs are wonderfully comfortable. We offer a set for of 4 pieces without armrest and 2 pces including armrest.
The set is brandmarked and in very good condition consistent with age and use.
