Vintage Svane set of two daybeds and two coffee tables by Ingmar Relling, Norway 1960s

Absolutely rare Svane set by Ingmar Relling consists of two daybeds, a coffee table, and a side table. It was manufactured by Ekornes, validated by the original stamp, in Norway in the 1960s. Genuine code to minimalism and Norwegian purity - two daybeds combined with a perfectly fitting side table make a stunning corner unit. Additionally, together with the coffee table in the middle, create a ready-to-use lounge suit that enriches any living room with the Scandinavian midcentury style. One of the beds has a sleeping function while fully unfolded by using the side table as a cushion base. In addition, the top of the table is removable to become a useful tray. Each daybed opens, demonstrating compartments for bed linen or blankets. All this enhances the functionality and minimalism of Scandinavian Modern design. Tables and bed details are teak veneered, with solid wood elements, like legs and frames. The set is in fantastic original condition, in checkered wool upholstery, which has been professionally cleaned. Overall it set has been preserved with almost no signs of use anyway.
