About this vintage design furniture
Armchair with mechanism, convertible into daybed, Francois Caruelle 1950 fully adjustable, metal structure, solid wood armrests, original cushions in dark green skai. François Caruelle was a member of the UAM (union of modern artists) and collaborated with Jean PROUVE to design the furniture for the MARTEL DE JANVILLE sanatorium in 1934. He is best known for his famous adjustable pedestal tables, now reissued by EMBRU. Dimensions closed : Height 93 x Width 71 x Depth 83 cm Dimensions open Height 30 cm x Width 71 x Depth 216 cm
