About this vintage design furniture

Stunningly hand-carved 19th century French château table carved in 1889 for a family living in Tressin by the local Tressin cabinet maker, ‘Ébéniste De Tressin’. Featuring wonderfully patinated oak legs & a wonderfully preserved solid golden antique pine table top. Made in france in 1889 for a family chateau just outside of Lille in a small town called Tressin, this piece has lived in the same home for the past 130 years, it has come to us since the chateau is being transformed from a family home into a hotel. Condition Report: Excellent patinated condition, for a table of 130 years of age the top has remarkably retained its beautiful golden colour & graining. The legs feature beautiful patina with the wood underneath peaking through the original antique varnish. Reference : 270385
