About this vintage design furniture

Bauhaus tubular chair model S43 designed by Mart Stam (1899-1966) for Thonet in 1931. Mart Stam is the designer of the first cantilever chair in 1926. This chair was designed in 1931 and made in the 1930s/1940s. Marked with a metal Thonet plate under the seat (see photos). The logo is open with the dash at the T, later this continued. The condition is still good with normal traces of wear and use for its age (see pictures). This tube chair has been checked and cleaned. Material: chromed metal and wood (plywood). Colour: black and silver.
