About this vintage design furniture
Iconic chair of the 20th century. Made in the middle of the last century from bent chrome tubes. Seat and backrest in molded plywood. Original design by Mart Stam for the Thonet company. In Czechoslovakia, the chairs were made by the Kovona company. Very good condition with seat and backrest in light oak color, seat and backrest restored with a new finish. Chrome parts in very good condition with some wear due to age. Great industrial design with a comfortable seat due to the tube construction that allows some spring in the seat. Yet it is strong enough to hold someone for many generations to come.
