Vintage rectangular mirror in rattan and cane, 1960

Vintage rectangular bamboo, rattan and cane mirror from the 1960s. The mirror features a beautiful design with a rattan and bamboo frame, in a warm, burnt bamboo and tiger color with clean rounded shapes. The background or frame of the mirror is covered with a cane surface with a beautiful patina over time, which makes it really pop and in the spirit of some pieces made on the riviera at that time (see photos.The piece is in very good original vintage condition with light signs of age and previous use commensurate with time, as well as a patina of time, on the overall structure, mirror, cane and border, as one would expect for a piece of this age (see photos), but nothing that takes away from its cool look. The caning has no tears. The mirror has no cracks or chips (see photos), and measures at H: 48.5 cm x W: 28.5 cm. On the back, there is an eye hook screw, so the piece can easily be mounted on a wall in a vertical position (see photo,) but it can just as easily be mounted in a horizontal position if desired by changing the attachment points.A very pretty mirror, which will work well in any mid-century, rustic-contemporary or retro-bohemian space, in an entryway, bedroom, living room, bathroom, hallway, porch or even on a deck or balcony.Note: all photos were taken outdoors in natural light (except 1 indoors, in natural light), so colors may vary slightly depending on the angle from which they are viewed.
