About this vintage design furniture

An iconic table created by the legendary architect and designer Carlo Scarpa for Cattelan Italia in the 1960's. This particular table has a later production date somewhere during the late 1970's or early 1980's. The leg bases are made from a marble type called Black Madagascar. The top is the original round glass one. It is in very good condition with a few marks. The top could be altered if wanted to be rectangular or other shapes and materials such as marble glass or wood. We can offer a quote upon request. Reference : 265459

About the designer

Carlo SCARPA

Carlo Scarpa was an Italian architect and designer, born on June 2, 1906 in Venice and died on November 28, 1978 in Sendai, Japan. He studied architecture at the Venice Academy of Fine Arts and began his career as a designer for the Venini artistic glassworks.
