About this vintage design furniture
This Danish tripod teak stool was designed by Sven Ellekaer in the 1960s. Shapely mid-century design with a teak frame and a large upholstered seat with black leather upholstery. A multifunctional stool in a minimalist Scandinavian design is a timeless modern classic. Ellekaer for Christian Linneberg.
Comfortable seating or as a side chair or pouf / ottoman
Very good original condition with signs of wear on the leather. A few small holes that are only visible in close-up.

About the designer
Sven ELLEKAER
Sven Ellekaer was a Danish designer who was born in 1910 and died in 1976. He is best known for his work in the 1950s and 1960s, which was marked by simple, uncluttered forms and the use of natural materials such as wood and leather.
