About this vintage design furniture

A set of six Henning Kjaernulf dining chairs. Denmark, c1960s. Oak with upholstered seats. Manufactured by Nyrup Møbelfabrik. Original upholstery retained, it is in ok vintage condition but easy to update, these chairs look great in a more neutral colour. We have an upholsterer we can recommend to replace the seat rests. We have another set of six at the same time of listing. So a set of 12 chairs could be made. Location: Belgium Gallery. Dimensions: 51 W x 43 D x 45 Seat Height x 102 Total Height in cm. About the designer

Henning KJAERNULF

Henning Kjaernulf (1929-2009) was a Danish designer who left his mark on the 1950s-1970s with his functional, elegant furniture. He studied at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen, where he was trained in carpentry and design.
