About this vintage design furniture
Lovely and elegant teak and iron Floor lamp mod G35 designed by Hans-Agne Jakobsson for Markaryd, Sweden in the 1960s. Cross iron base and teak lamp pole with a new upholstered fabric drum shaped shade in a lowered position on the pole. Perfect lamp for any room with a lovely calming light. Signed with Hans-Agne Jakobsson, Markaryd G35 on the pole.
Measures: 143 cmH x 40 cmD (shade). Dia foot 47 cm. Good vintage condition.
Hans- Agne Jakobsson (1919-2009 ) was a Swedish interior decorator and furniture designer between the 1950s and 1970s. Jakobssons lighting received great international attention as he was experimenting with a wide range of materials as brass, iron, glass, fabric, and wood shavings. Jakobsson mastered both the direction and color of the light.
