About this vintage design furniture

Lounge chair design by Adrian Audoux & Freda Minet for Vibo, 1950 A very hard to find chair by Adrien Audoux and Frida Minet made of turned wood with their iconic woven seats and backs. This original French modernist rope chair designed in 1950 by Audoux and Minet is beautifully executed in a rustic modern style typical of this design duo. The duo was committed to using accessible, often natural materials in their furniture and became known for their now iconic rope and wood chairs. Audoux and Minet's signature style is a fusion of rustic and modern and their pieces have become highly collectible. Many items, such as this armchair, are real collector's items today. This chair has a beautiful patina and signs of wear. Reference : 262186
