About this vintage design furniture

Nice set of 6 dining chairs designed by Augusto Savini for Pozzi in the 1960s. Pozzi presented this model for the first time at Galeries Lafayette in 1968. The chairs feature minimal design and partly ergonomic construction made of solid and laminated wood with grain, precious metal parts connect the seat and back rest. The set remains in excellent vintage condition, a conservative restoration has been carried out. The wood surface has been refinished. Augusto Savini was an Italian designer born in Bologna in 1919 and died in 1968. He studied architecture at the University of Rome before turning to furniture and object design.
