About this vintage design furniture

A rare, blue Setsu and Shinobu Ito ‘Au’ chair set for Edra. Manufactured in 2003. A set of two informal seats with an organic form linked to Japanese symbolism: one seat meets the other one to create various configurations, as indicated by the symbol 'AU' that in Japanese means "to meet". The two chairs are made of expanded polyurethane covered by a bio-elastic fibre, while the upper part of the backrest is covered with leather to provide a functional side table. Good condition.
