Elegant pair of lamps by Jean Claude Mahey for Roche & Bobois produced in late 1970s. Lacquered burgundy on gold plated brass finishing. Shades included. CONDITION: Very Good original condition. WEAR: Wear consistent with age and use. Some patina on top brass cap of lamp. Shades have some wear.

About the designer
Jean-Claude MAHEY
Mahey is a French designer born in Paris in 1937. He studied at the École nationale supérieure des arts décoratifs in Paris and began his career working for designer Jacques Adnet. He then opened his own design studio in 1968.
