Vintage Danish Pair of Maygreen Glass Bowls by Per Lütken. 1950s, Set of 2.
Stunning pair of organically shaped Danish modern glass bowls in heavy green glass from the May green series designed by Per Lütken for Holmegaard Glassworks, Denmark in the 1950s. Originally designed as ashtrays.
Large bowl is signed: "Holmegaard PL 460501"
Small bowl is signed: "Holmegaard PL 17271"
Very good original condition. No chips or cracks.

About the designer
Per LÜTKEN
Per Lütken was a Danish glass designer born on March 17, 1916 in Copenhagen and died on July 19, 1998 in Holte, Denmark. He is best known for his work as senior designer at Holmegaard, a Danish glass company, from 1942 until his death.
