About this vintage design furniture
A beautiful and super comfortable high back chair "Model 829", designed in the 1950's by Gio Ponti and manufactured by Cassina, Italy.The chair can be tilted back using the handle on the right side.The wooden frame remains in its original vintage condition, showing some normal wear and tear for its age.It has been reupholstered with Libeco bouclé, a high quality Belgian bouclé wool.

Gio PONTI
1891 - 1979Gio Ponti (1891-1979) was an Italian designer, architect, writer and teacher, considered one of the most influential designers of 20th-century Italy. Born in Milan, he studied architecture at Milan Polytechnic University and began working as an architect in 1921.
