About this vintage design furniture

An oak secretary, model 'BE04'. Designed in the 1950's by Cees Braakman, manufactured by PASTOE, The Netherlands. Unlike the 'BE03' model, the 'BE04' has its drawer on the compartment in the middle. This way it can be used as a desk. The desk has a wedge-shaped leg and a brass hinge. The shelves can be easily replaced with the help of the brass pins. The secretary has been slightly restored and shows some traces of wear such as darker stains, but remains in good overall condition.
