About this vintage design furniture

Celebrated for its lean profile and clean lines, the Brno chair was designed by Mies van der Rohe in the 1930s, and is an icon of 20th-century design. This is a rare opportunity to acquire a set of eight vintage Brno chairs with a flat bar steel frame in a polished chrome finish, complete with their original high-quality white fine grain leather. The Knoll Studio logo and the signature of Ludwig Mies van der Rohe are stamped into the feet of each chair. They are robust and heavy chairs that are incredibly comfortable as they cantilever, which gives nicely when sat in. The polished chrome finish is in very good condition. They have been well looked after, and show signs of use, as seen on all the leather arm pads and back corners of the backrests (wear not dirt) – please see images. A single Brno chair can be bought new today for around £2300! Reference : 253772
