Scandinavian vintage chest of drawers in wood, 1960s

Vintage mid-century chest of drawers on spindle legs, Scandinavian style, circa 1960's.The piece is made of wood, finished in a teak colored veneer that has golden hues, with a warm and shiny tiger-striped effect and will be an eye-catcher in an entryway, bedroom, hallway or living room.The front of the chest has a rare six chamfered drawers that all open and close properly and all have their original pale gold knobs. The interior of each drawer is very clean, each has its paper drawer liner glued on, with some light old traces of use (see photos.) The spindle legs, add height, elegance and lightness to the overall look of the piece. The 4 legs are removable, if neededThe piece is overall, in very good, original, vintage condition with light marks and signs of age and use and a patina of time, commensurate with time, on the overall structure, top, edges, side panels, buttons and legs as expected for a piece of this age (see photos.) The top surface is smooth, with light marks of age and use and patina of time. A mark at the top, right front edge (see photos with a penny for perspective.) Small marks from time at the bottom left and right bottom and panels of the piece (see photos.) A few small marks at the end, back edge of the left side of the piece (see photos.), as well as the bottom, back edge of the left side (see photos.), none of which affect the beauty or functionality of the piece.The clean, modern design of the chest of drawers, with its sharp-edged side panels, brings dynamism and originality to the whole. It is stable, solid, sturdy and the drawers are all functional.
