About this vintage design furniture

A beautiful desk chair, model EA219 from the “Soft Pad” series, designed by Charles & Ray Eames and manufactured by ICF in Italy around 1970. This inviting chair has a tubular aluminium frame with leather upholstered seat and back. The Soft Pad series were designed for maximal comfort and the thick padding of the seat and back constrasts nicely to the elegant frame. They are more soft and luxurious compared to the aluminium series, but have the same modern style! Labeled underneath the frame with ICF mark. The piece remains in good, vintage condition with only minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina. Reference : 252939
