About this vintage design furniture

Stool produced in the 1970s by Zanotta in Italy based on a project by Achille and Pier Giacomo Castiglioni. Initially designed in 1957, Zanotta put it into production in the 1970s. The seat exactly takes the shape of a tractor saddle, applying the principles of Duchamp's ready-mades to furnishings, which take up a form of common use by translating it into a completely different context. The base is in chromed metal and shaped solid wood. Good general condition, some signs on the chrome. Dimensions: Length 49 cm - Depth 51 cm - Height 51 cm Reference : 252747
