Vintage Italian burgundy and brass dining table by Jean Claude Mahey

Jean-Claude Mahey came from a family of decorative painters. Still today his design company in Paris is family led. Mahey graduated from the college of Applied Arts of Paris in 1966. Ten years later he founded his design company of contemporary furniture. Working closely with his wife, Betty Mahey, they have presented many successful designs which have been distributed in France and around the world. Using elegant materials such as lacquer, precious metals, rich woods and marble Mahey`s designs are m anufactured by the company`s own workshops. See information below. In 1992 they opened their present showroom in the centre of Paris and soon after their children Cecilia & Maxence joined the team. Today they operate under the name Madelia and they work as Furniture designer having their designs produced with the best furniture manufactures like for example Roche Bobois. This burgundy red dining table with brass elements is made in great detail and is attributed to Jean-Claude Mahey. There is no signature on the table but it is also possible the shields made by Mahey where removed over the years. Table in good condition consistent with age and use. Reference : 251334
