About this vintage design furniture

This iconic Dutch design chair, model “Revolt”, was designed by Friso Kramer and manufactured by Ahrend de Cirkel in the Netherlands around 1960. Made of white metal with dark bordeaux ciranol seats and back. The chair is designed with a rounded seat, curving down at the edge. The backrest is slightly bent as well for maximum comfort and style. This eye for detail within it’s simplicity is what made this a revolutionary design! A highly recognizable find of Dutch mid-century design. The piece remains in very good, vintage condition with minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina.
