About this vintage design furniture

Iconic armchair, model JH-503, also known as ‘The Chair’ or ‘Round Chair’ or the ‘Kennedy Chair’, and arguably Wegner’s most famous design. First produced by Johannes Hansen in Denmark, 1949. The Chair rose to prominence in the 1960 televised debate between Richard Nixon and John F. Kennedy. Solid old growth teak construction with black leather upholstery. In very good vintage condition with some minor marks Overall patination indicative with originality and age.
