About this vintage design furniture
A set of six chairs designed to be functional yet playful, anyone can appreciate, enjoy and, most importantly, seek comfort in.
The ergonomic pine is carved to fit the human body like a glove, and the simple design will complement a variety of tastes and designs.
Composed of solid pine, this durable and versatile softwood can last decades or longer with proper care and attention. The buttery, light shade blends easily to create an organic yet elevated aesthetic in the interior. Pine is also lighter than many other common woods found in furniture which allows the piece to be easily carried .
German architect turned designer Rainer Daumiller popularized these playful pine dining sets through Danish brand Hirtshals Savvaerk in the 1960s and 1970s.
