Vintage Art Deco glazed ceramic box, 1920

Rare small round box Art Deco enamelled ceramics said cloisonné of the Faïenceries et Emaux de Longwy realized around 1920. The box is covered with a very beautiful graphic and colored frieze on a cream background with cracked enamel characteristic of the manufacture of Longwy. The manufacture of Longwy has hundreds of years of tradition, but their golden age is clearly the Art Deco period from the 1920s to 1940s. A collector's item, very decorative, and in superb vintage condition. Reference : 244490
