About this vintage design furniture
Arne Jacobsen designed a series of chairs with animal names of which the Ant chair was his personal favorite. It is the only one originally designed with three legs. Its silhouette is very elegant, which is emphasised by the white color.
These chairs were produced in 1981. The joint underneath is signed 974, but the sticker says 1981. All chairs have usermarks and cracks on the laquer of the backs. which is normal for their age. All chairs are sturdy; also the backrests. A beautiful set of absolute design classics.
