About this vintage design furniture
This set of two Bauhaus style bedside tables was produced in the 1940's by Famed Zadziele. They are made of oak and a chrome tubular steel frame. The Famed company was founded in 1921 and produced tubular furniture, also under license from Thonet and Mücke Melder. In 1966, the village of Zadziele, along with a furniture factory, was displaced and flooded with the waters of the artificial Żywieckie Lake.
The bedside tables have been restored, varnished in a satin finish. The chrome plating is preserved in its original condition with visible patina.
