Vintage armchair by Theo Ruth for Artifort, Netherlands 1950s

A lovely lounge chair designed by Theo Ruth and manufactured by Artifort in the Netherlands around 1950. The The piece has a deep, thick seat, armrests with a curved finish and gently curved backrest. This all adds to it’s elegant style as well as the excellent seating comfort! It has wooden legs with a subtle outwards curved, all adding perfectly to it’s style and creating a beautiful harmonious design. It is upholstered in high quality red velvet, all together making this piece a wonderful addition to the decor! The chair remains in good, original condition with some wear consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina. Reference : 242092
