About this vintage design furniture
Tubular massive writing desk, cataloque no. B-327. It was originaly designed by André Lurçat and it was made in the former Czechoslovakia by Mucke Melder company under Thonet licence in the 1930´s. It´s originally marked.
A typical example of European functionalism and the works of leading designers. Chromium steel construction, plywood veneered with walnut wood veneer. There are currently not many of these pieces on the market today. The table is in original condition, shows signs of age and using.
