About this vintage design furniture

Vintage Temde Hanging Lamp with Teak 1960s Germany. The lamp emits a pleasant and glare-free light through the superior white Plexiglas shade. Rare, large hanging lamp with beautiful details, in good condition with signs of wear (see photos). The lamp produces fantastic, soft light. The pull mechanism for height adjustment still works as it should. It has an E27 fitting and the lamp is adjustable in height. Temde-Leuchten and Temde AG was a German-Swiss manufacturer of lighting fixtures, headquartered in Detmold (North Rhine-Westphalia) and subsidiary in Sevelen, in the canton of St. Gallen in Switzerland. Fritz Müller (1889-1964), son of a cabinet maker from Lipperland, founded the company in 1911 under the company Temde, abbreviated by Theodor Müller, father of the company founder.
