About this vintage design furniture
A rare and exceptional pair of world-known armchairs, model 503 manufactured by Johannes Hansen in the 1960s. The maker's stamp preserved. This model, designed in 1949 by Hans J. Wegner, is most commonly known as 'The Chair' or the "Kennedy Chair" as they appeared in the presidential campaign between J.F. Kennedy and Richard Nixon in 1960s.
Designed for style and exquisitely constructed from solid teak with original cognac leather upholstery on the seat.
Excellent vintage condition with minor signs of wear and light patina showing its age. The wood frame preserved with Danish Oil to retain its natural, beautiful appearance.
