About this vintage design furniture

A beautiful coffee table designed by Aldo Tura in the 1970s. The table is made of wood with a beautiful pattern and finished with a high-gloss lacquer. The tabletops on this table can slide to the left and right to reveal the bar inside. This space was originally intended as a bar, but it is also very useful for storing other items. The table was made around 1970 in Italy. It is largely made of wood, with chrome panels on the base and a brown parchment pattern on the table tops. Together with artists such as Piero Fornasetti and Carlo Bugatti, Aldo Tura (1909-1963) was one of the outsiders of Italian design. The use of goatskin in his furniture is a signature element of Aldo Tura's designs. It gives a very dramatic and unique quality to the look of his pieces. Tura founded his workshop in Milan in 1939 and the company has been around ever since. Reference : 237035
