About this vintage design furniture

An exceptional range of rocking chair, pioneer of bent chrome and cushioned seating, flat iron straps, round bent construction, hinged upholstery, original backing fabric, padded armrests, original fretwork, PROVENANCE-J. Klauda, pharmacist, traveller, collector of antiques, founded the Klauda Museum in Rožnov pod Radhoštěm, later bequeathed his collections to the Museums Association and the Jaroňek brothers-Jaroňek Museum, THIS IMPORTANT AND RARE PIECE OF FURNITURE IS REGULARLY AUCTIONED AT THE WORLD’S LEADING AUCTIONS.THE CHAIR WAS FIRST EXHIBITED IN 1851 AT THE FIRST WORLD EXPOSITION IN LONDON, THE -WORLD EXPO 1851-, AND AT THE -WORLD EXPO 1862-.ITS PROBABLE DESIGNER IS PETER COOPER-1791-1883-, ONE OF THE CENTRAL FIGURES OF AMERICAN INDUSTRY AND LEADING DESIGNERS.
