About this vintage design furniture
Rare desk model CM136 by Pierre Paulin for Thonet, circa 1954. First desk created by Pierre Paulin for Thonet. Wooden top and cabinet, ash or oak veneer, black lacquered steel base, natural leather handle. The handle is not the original one, but has been refurbished based on photos and documentation of the period, the woodwork has been reprocessed (no repairs, small defects of use visible), the base has just been cleaned with traces of use and wear left as is. Very nice general aspect.
