About this vintage design furniture

Original Gispen tubular chair model 201 with bakelite armrests designed by W.H. Gispen in the 1930s. This Gispen chair has an invisible fastening of the back and seat and was made in the 1950s. A cantilever dining room or office chair with a chrome-plated tubular frame (in one piece). The flexible lines give the chair a certain visual elasticity. Dimensions: h x w x d 83 x 54 x 57 cm. The seat height is 48 cm, and the tube diameter is 22 mm. Reupholstered with new foam and yellow rib fabric (see photos). Frame still very good, signs of wear consistent with age and use.
